Dr. Burgess’ background as both a Board-Certified Chiropractor and Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner gives him unique perspectives on the needs of hospitals, medical clinics, and ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs). Over the course of his career, he has assumed leadership roles as both an entrepreneur and C-Suite executive.

Dr. Burgess brings more than 15 years of experience as a healthcare professional and senior leader in clinical operations and business development to OMNIMED^®. Prior to joining the company, Dr. Burgess held several key industry positions, most recently with Laboratory Services LLC where he served as the Chief Executive Officer, leading the company through the mergers & acquisitions process, overseeing financial performance and risk, managing regulatory compliance, and supervising brand development.

Before joining Laboratory Services, he was Vice President of Clinical Operations for Field Trip Health where he developed, launched, and operated 12 medical clinical locations in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, introducing new programs and evaluating and refreshing existing ones. Dr. Burgess has also been Vice President of Clinical Operations for Prime MSO and founded both an orthopedics and spine center and a sports medicine chiropractic and rehabilitation practice.
